Educate and Empower your Students

Think Globally, Act Locally. In light of the growing threat of global warming, this mantra has never had more meaning. Today, it is easy for our young people to feel powerless and vulnerable when they hear about issues facing our world, such as global warming. When no outlet for making a difference presents itself, they are often left with two choices: become indifferent or escape reality. In our experience, children and students choose these paths to cope with their feelings of helplessness and despair.

One Planet Fundraising cares about our young people. We believe that education brings understanding and understanding, coupled with a plan of action, brings empowerment. We want to join you in educating your students about global warming. Lets give them an outlet to make a difference. Young people participating in a CFL fundraiser will feel empowered to make a difference and the best part is, they will make a difference. This sense of empowerment will serve as a springboard that will help them continue to make environmentally and socially responsible choices into adulthood. Knowing that their choices matter will make all the difference in moving our one planet towards a sustainable future.
